Goodreads asked Tiger Hebert:

How do you get inspired to write?

Tiger Hebert My faith of course is a source of inspiration, but every it comes from so many other sources too.

Many people say that writing, when even no one would read your story, is the sign that you are a true writer. I understand that completely, we all have stories that need to be told, it's part of who we are. BUT, I also believe a story doesn't come to life until it has been experienced by the readers. Knowing that they enjoyed that experience compells me to push forward.

Other books are one of my greatest inspirations. The way that authors like Brandon Sanderson, Mark Lawrence, and Robert Mullin simply suck you into their world is fascinating and inspiring. I appreciate being drawn into fast, rich, and complex worlds, and I want to offer the same thing to my readers.

My own characters inspire me too. Knowing that Theros, Dominar, and Kiriana all still have a story to tell, gives me the drive to keep working to bring them to life.
