How's your relationship with Tate? I have them and they're so slow responding to emails. They come back with answers that are already what I said in the email 2 weeks earlier. My books are P.O.D. not sure if that's industry standard or their way of putting out new authors.

I sent you a more detailed response, but simply put, true Traditional Publishers do not operate as a Print on Demand. However your Hybrid and Vanity publishers do.

When looking for a Traditional Publisher, you must keep in mind that even many of the bigger Publishing Houses now also have imprint labels that serve as Hybrid/Vanity pubs, while still carrying a well branded name. I believe Hatchett and Orbit are among those that do this.
