Writer's block doesn't happen often, thankfully, but I do run into "plot knots," when I'm not sure how the story should proceed. I find taking long walks in my quiet, wooded neighborhood helps to grease the mental wheel, so I'm able to come up with ideas to save my characters from their demise due to bad writing. :)
