I always have books I can recommend! But I love to have specific challenges, like: Can you recommend a book for someone who loves Italy and only reads very short books. That said, I just read THE ORPHAN MASTER'S SON by Adam Johnson and can recommend that very highly. I've been recommending like crazy a wonderful memoir by Brando Skyhorse called TAKE THIS MAN. I love the first novel by my friend Emily Gould: FRIENDSHIP. And one of my favorites from last year was A TALE FOR THE TIME BEING by Ruth Ozeki. But that's just me getting started!

Hello Mr. Schwalbe. My name is Valeria Mafra, I'm 18 years old and I read your book Books For The Living, top-notch book by the way. Anyways In your book you said something about questions, and how you said you made most of your questions in High School and whatnot. I have a question for you since you're wise and all. Is it okay that I don't know what I want to do in the future? I'm honestly really confused atm.
