Dear Gail, Thank you for answering my question! The inconsistencies I noticed are of character stories, example take Sidheag. In Parasol protectorate Sidheag acts like she doesn't know Genevieve but they met at finishing school! Also she said she left school to marry Nial and then heard about the packs betrayal. While in Finishing school, she left because she heard of the packs trouble and the dewan proposed marriage?

(view spoiler)[Sidheag and Vieve act like they don't know each other because they trained as... spies. They have (as yet un-revealed) reasons for hiding their association from Alexia/Conell. I'll merely say that the Maccons are both government operatives at the time. If you reread S & V's interactions in Changeless you'll note a number of significant exchanges of... something.
The dewan arranges the marriage between Sidheag and Niall. And that marriage is Sidheag's excuse for leaving school. Why on earth would Sidheag reveal anything more private to anyone, what would be her motivation for doing so?
Each character has their own motivations and many of the characters in the Parasol Protectorate series are motivated not to reveal secrets to Alexia. Since the series is told (mostly) from her POV, and she doesn't know what happened...
The idea is that each new POV character learns different things about the past. In my universe, what you don't know can always hurt you. And that includes what other characters know, that you don't, as it were.

So, before I go on, I just wanted to say I got my signed copy of Soulless in the mail, and I fangirled like nothing else XD The dialogue within your books is what really makes them special. The conversations characters have with each other seem so ingenuous and spontaneous, I often wonder how you can craft a scene in such an extraordinary fashion. How do you do it?
