Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Phyllis H. Moore My most recent book is Opal's Story. I was talking with my father about a murder/suicide. We wondered about the reasons for such a thing. I did some research on the internet about the occurrence of murder/suicide and imagined how it could happen. I have always enjoyed visiting West Texas, the climate, the scenery and structures. I was also thinking about same sex marriage and the views of a changing society. All of those things combined, inspired the story.
