I see a story in everything. When I started writing, there was a shift in my awareness. I noticed small events that could be incorporated or built upon. Silly things in the grocery store, conversations with friends, watching my dog, anything can be expanded to a scene or passage. I hope the descriptions make the characters and situations real for the reader.
