Oddly enough, the ideas for 'Daughter of the Drackan' (and its upcoming sequel 'Mother of the Drackan', because they were written together) came from a combination of playing 'Haunted' by Evanescence on repeat during seemingly long car rides to my dad's house, gazing out at the cliffs and peaks of the Rocky Mountains on the way, and a good number of intensely vivid dreams.
