Goodreads asked Kathrin Hutson:

What are you currently working on?

Kathrin Hutson My time is split between so many things right now. First on the roster is the final review of 'Mother of the Drackan: Book Two of Gyenona's Children', which will be out early 2016.

My current work in progress is a Dystopian Sci-Fi titled 'Sleepwater Beat'. Set in the US in the not-so-distant future, this book covers government control, pharmaceutical and media conspiracy, black market dealings, human trafficking and experimentation, guerrilla warfare, and a group of people wielding a variety of X-Men-like powers, able to physically, emotionally, and psychologically affect those around them using certain types of words. The protagonist gets dragged along through the conspiratorial debacle and forced to choose who she wants to be and where she wants to belong.

I also am engulfed by two works of collaborative fiction with eight other authors. The first is 'Bit' - a modern-day zombie story with a fabulous twist in technological/medical details - which will be out early 2016 as well. The second is 'The Irregulars' - a macabre sort of 'Oliver Twist' tale of eight urchins, all with extreme physical and psychological handicaps plus a myriad of superpowers, who have to "grow up" together as they escape being hunted down.

A lot of fun, crazy stuff coming up soon!
