How do you deal with writer’s block?

Wende Dikec I don't believe in writer's block. If I'm ever stuck on something, I distract myself by working on something else, like editing the previous chapter. I also like to meditate before I write to clear my mind. I attend a weekly session with a group called Mindful Writers. We meditate and then write for four solid hours. It might sound odd, but it really works. My teacher, Madhu Bazazz Wangu, created a fabulous series of guided meditations for writers. I downloaded it so I can use it to meditate at home, too.
