Tammy Cordery
Tammy Cordery asked Regina Jennings:

What wonderful books. Do you ever have problems coming up with characters for your stories?

Regina Jennings Thank you, Tammy! Great question! I usually work on the plot first, and then I try to think of what characters would be most entertaining in that situation. Then I look at the two main characters together - How would they get along? How would they drive each other crazy? - and I fine tune their personalities for maximum conflict and sparks. So each character is pretty much born for that story. But it's not that easy. It takes several drafts to polish them up so that the character traits in my mind show up on the page.

Thanks for asking!
