Marcia, have you read Marquez' One Hundred Years of Solitude yet? It is easier than Men of Maize to read and is arguably one of the best novels of the Twentieth Century. I just finished re-reading it for, I believe, the seventh time. Good werdz 'nall.

Marcia E. Letaw Yes, many years ago and I loved it! I'm going to put it on my re-read list, something for the future, but for today I'm going to investigate Rulfo. The library only has The Burning Plain so I'll start with that.

Hey. I just saw you liked my review of James' The Ambassadors. I found it absolutely horrible and almost unreadable. It made my downright angry. I had the impression it's a wilful attempt to make the goings-on as opaque as possible and put obstacles in the readers way. Do you think the same?
