One of the biggest influences on my writing is The Twilight Zone (I'm a native of Binghamton, NY, where Rod Serling once lived a portion of his young life and set many of the episodes in), and, like that show, I use the "What If..." factor. I like to think of something supernatural, then think of my main character the story will wrap around, and go from there.
