So many moments inspire me to write: the crisp scent of barbeque on a chilly winter's evening, stars hovering overhead, or the sound of the wind's song as it bristles the leaves on a nearby tree. Whether I am happy or sad, traumatically overwhelmed at some unimportant detail of life, or simply walking along on a warm, blue-skied afternoon, writing helps me make cosmos of the chaos.
