I'm no expert, let me start with that. I find sometimes I'm trying to write perfectly straight off. Forget that! While the ideas are flowing and you have enthusiasm, get it all down. You can fuss and fiddle with it later. If all you have is a scene, but no plot as yet, get it down. From that you can get another and another.
