It started out by watching people trying to navigate life while having their full attention on the cell phone in front of them. They'll walk into traffic, run off the road, fall off of high places trying to take a selfie... So, that became somewhat of the impetus (with the help of some evil geniuses) that drives the plot of The Mortal Coil Shuffle.
