Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lillian White I have always been interested in history, especially the Victorian era (and the medieval and Ancient History...) I wanted to write a book-length romance as opposed to a short story as I have previously done in this genre. I simply put the two together. I felt it was important to convey the harsh reality of the times rather to focus simply on the romance. I think that, in the end, this proved to be a good backdrop for the story rather than detracting from it.
