You write a lot of paranormal stuff in your books--have you ever dealt with a haunting or something similar, do you mostly draw from folktales, or are you a complete skeptic?

I take every experience with a grain of salt but having dealt with an extremely haunted house for three years, I tend to believe. Most of the things I write about are from legends and ghost stories unrelated to my own experience. Although, Lindsey's ghost experiences in the beginning of How to Get Kicked Out of School are a close friends personal story!
