Goodreads asked Sara Tucker:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Sara Tucker Write a little every day. Even ten minutes is better than nothing. I wrote my first book on the commuter bus between Westfield, New Jersey, and Times Square. I don't commute anymore, so I write first thing in the morning. I make coffee, then I sit down and write, when almost everyone I know is still asleep. Solitude is essential to writing, and if you don't have it, you have to create it. Find a place where no one will bother you, and just start writing. Don't worry if it's crap. We all write crap. Eventually, something good pops out.
