Hi Jessica! My name is Tianna I am 15 and I want to be a writer more than anything! You are one of my favorite authors. I have never read any other books where the author is so good at doing magic as your books! Do you have any advice for me?

Jessica Day George Hi there! I'm just going to answer all three of your questions right here, okay?

So writing is awesome, except when it's hard. All you can do is keep trying, and practice, practice, practice. So that means that you:
1. Write every day, and try to stick with a story, past the beginning, through the middle, until you get to the end!
2. Save what you wrote. Even if you have twenty story starts that look dumb now, save them! You might be able to use them later!
3. Read. Part of learning how to write good scenes/dialogue/characters is seeing how other writers do it. So you have to read lots and lots of books so that you can see how it's done!
