What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Randy Kaneen The act of creativity. I may be a bit off on this one but I believe that the personal sense of accomplishment for what I and you write parallels that same sense enjoyed by the acknowledged masters. I am not saying my work (and maybe yours) is 'as good as' theirs but the cerebral and heartfelt rush one enjoys by writing that chapter, paragraph, or even sentence is rewarding, perhaps as much so as theirs was. Creativity and all that goes with it. That is "the best thing about being a writer".
