Goodreads asked Randy Kaneen:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Randy Kaneen It's funny how the priorities shift when a 'block' starts to happen. The garbage needs to be taken out, recycling sorted, lawn mowed. The list of things that require 'doing' seemingly grows and, of course, while occupied, the 'task of writing' falls to the bottom of the list. When this starts to happen just stop. Put your writing on the top of the list. Then before you can get up to do anything else (including meeting a friend for coffee) you must write a set number of words (maybe a hundred) They might not be the most inspirational words you've ever written but they are now on paper and can be edited. If you do this, soon enough the flow of writing will once more be present and those one hundred words you chiseled out then become three hundred or more fluid words. Also set yourself weekly and monthly word-count goals.
