Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

K.M. Kennedy I was making up stories to tell my children, and asked them what they wanted to hear about? Did they like magic, going to the beach, wizards, or fantasy or adventures?
I put all the things together they wanted to hear about and then, just kept going with the story telling, and evolving characters based on the feedback I received from my own children and their friends. There are some very common themes that are interesting to children and young adults.
