Why is Rose of Prophecy going to be unpublished?

Hope Ann Long story short (longer story to be on my blog this coming weekend ;) ) I'm rewriting it. Or rather, I'm writing another Beauty and the Beast retelling, which will be significantly different with different characters. The main reason for this is because, after writing Song of the Sword, I realized I ought to weave the history of Tauscher and Aslaria into the first novella more. Also, none of the other stories were going to follow the original fairy tale as closely as Rose of Prophecy did, and I felt I could deal with the theme better. Basically, I came to the decision that my first Legends of Light novella needed more depth and a slightly different tone to accurately represent the series, so that is what I'm currently working on. :)
