Goodreads asked Utkarsh Mohan:

How do you get inspired to write?

Utkarsh Mohan No inspiration needed really. I was a voracious reader as a child and all it took was the introduction of a PC to my house when I was ten to get me to start putting pen to paper ( or rather screen). My first novel, the Six Crime Solvers, done when I was eleven, was a shot-out to Enid Blyton, the second " Sachin Kumar and the Celestial Hand" when I was fourteen was rather akin to Harry Potter in the distant future and elicited some interest from publishers but for my age. I have been sporadically working on a number of ideas since then but getting the God of Sex & Gold and Rock'n'Roll right has been my focus for the last seven years or so
