Being able to submerge yourself completely into a fictional world. The thing is, writing is a little bit like reading a story. Whilst you're in the middle of it, that fictional world is your world. I'm about to start my fourth novel and the characters are having conversations in my head, times, places, various happenings are waiting to escape to the page - that is by far the best and most exciting thing about being a writer!
