Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Laura Perry My favorites change over time as I read new books and re-read old favorites. I'd say that right now, my favorite fictional couple is Ada and Inman from Charles Frazier's novel Cold Mountain. I realize that the overall tale is fairly sad, but Ada and Inman both find their own inner strength over the course of the story. Even when they're apart, each of their journeys is strengthened by the thought of the other, and in the end they help each other find redemption.
