Charlotte Nash
Probably Fenella Maxwell and Dino Ferranti from Jilly Cooper's Rutshire Chronicles. Mostly because it was one of the earliest romantic couples I read, and they were both interesting people - driven, complex and deeply flawed - and with great romantic chemistry. I've read others over the years that have come close (like Claire and Jamie Fraser), but I've re-read the story with Fen and Dino many more times, and I think that counts for something.
