Wow! I am so proud to be compared to Firefly! I LOVE Joss Whedon! (Not in a creepy way!)
I don't like labels, or having to fit my writing, or myself for that matter into neat little boxes. Genre is restrictive and annoying. So, why not have fairies in space? Believing that fairies are real (why not? They could be!), means they must have come from somewhere, so why not another planet?
