“During the Winter.

The month of Winter is coming,
It is coming,
I can feel it deep in my bones,
Penetrating through, deep inside of me,
Oh you the observer, what can you see and what can you feel?
What can you feel more than I? Than I, I the suffer,
The one who feels the pain, the pain that has a kind of joy inside,
Inside, like a tree trapped in a seed;

Oh! my fullest potentials, why lie thee in the deep ocean?
Why lie down when the sun is shining? The sun rises higher through the horizon;

Wake up, awaken ye who are alive, awaken and take that which belongs to you,
Then let not the month, the season, the word winter,
Knock you down by surprise, take it down instead by experience,
Rather knock it down by reason, don't take it down by emotion,
Don't take it down by feelings either.

By Mwanandeke Kindembo.”

“Never Doubt Yourself, Everything Happens for a Reason

When we look back on our lives and think honestly about everything we have been through, we begin to realize how much we have learned. Many experiences have given us a different view of life and helped shape the person we are today. Not everything we faced felt like progress, yet even difficult moments often guided us toward changes we might never have discovered otherwise.
Life is not made only of joy and pleasant times. It also includes sorrow, disappointment, and pain. Those experiences make us more aware and teach us that life on earth can sometimes feel like a struggle within ourselves. Again and again, we are confronted with situations and events we do not always agree with. Yet we cannot always change them, and sometimes we must accept what comes into our path. Positivity is one of the strongest forms of defence. It gives us the strength to move forward faster, let go, and carry no bitterness. With positive thoughts, we process difficult moments more quickly and create space to focus on something new that brings peace and comfort. Thinking too long about things that already happened and can no longer be changed is like trying to board a train that has already passed. It only wastes energy and takes us nowhere. Emotions and love are not always fully under our control. When we overthink too much, we can lose ourselves in sadness, pain, or anger. That is why we must keep thinking forward and learn to manage our emotions. Without realizing it, they can lead us toward the wrong decisions. Nothing truly works when we continue to doubt ourselves. Self-belief is essential. It helps us face every situation with greater strength. Accept every event in life with a positive attitude. Do not allow negativity to influence your behavior or choices. Realize that everything happens for a reason. Never doubt yourself, but remain confident, social, and respectful toward other people and the animals on earth.
