“She had felt it in the spring, when the dazzling white blooms of dogwoods, serviceberry, wild plum and hawthorn trees became a welcome sight against the gray and brown trunks of the over-story trees. Here and there, deep pink blooms clung to the redbud branches; blood-red spikes accented the tips of buckeye trees. The boughs of their own apple trees swelled with luscious white blooms, the dozen trees of their orchard decked out like brides.”

“Dear Fellowship of Astrology,
According to my astrology faith, Venus is the goddess of fertility, feminine energy, creation, and renewal. It is the divine power that blesses wombs with fruitful outcomes.
Those who carry a womb are not marked for chaos, nor are they marked for death. They are the bearers of life itself. Yet, I believe that because of their sacred gift and their fertile carriage of creation, they naturally attract those who wish them harm; those who seek to defile their bodies and all that sets them apart.
For when the original House of fertility and creation is destroyed, the very foundation of life itself begins to fall.
To my fellow worshippers of astrology: let us remember the divine message of Venus which is to honour the womb, to protect creation, and to rise in the radiant strength of the feminine force.
This has been the message of the Month of October, but please carry it onwards.”
