"গত ছ'মাস যাবৎ একটু একটু করে পড়তেছি। প্রথম দেড়শো পেজে প্রধান নারী চরিত্রগুলার আগমন তেমন ঘটে নাই এবং দস্থয়েভ্স্কির স্বভাবজাত হিউমোর ব্যতীত বেশ গাম্ভীর্য ছিল। এই অংশে আমরা নানা তাত্ত্বিক তর্ক বিতর্ক দেখতে পাই পুরুষদের মধ্যে।
তবে নারী চরিত্রগুলোকে পরিচয় করায় দেবার পর থেকেই শুধু হাসতেছি। বাপ এবং তিন ভাইয়ের মনে যে রং লাগছে, তা আমার মধ্যেও সংক্রমিত হইসে যেন।
