I absolutely loved this book from the start to the last page of it. I liked how the author explored how in many godly pantheons, gods are commonly polyamorous, not cisgender, and neither good or evil.

I loved and felt annoyed by every single character in this book. That is a good thing because that was the authors intention.
I was surprised, in a good way, at the ending because it felt like it was set up that Gem would both either destroy or use the knife. However, in most Y.A the character chooses to do what the reader deems is the "good thing". So it is a good surprise that Gem remained true to the complicatedness of themselves.
Can't wait for the next book to be released...more
