“Kaladin frowned. “Wait. Are you wearing cologne? In prison?”
“Well, there was no need to be barbaric, just because I was incarcerated.”
“Storms, you’re spoiled,” Kaladin said, smiling.
“I’m refined, you insolent farmer,” Adolin said. Then he grinned. “Besides, I’ll have you know that I had to use cold water for my baths while here.”
“Poor boy.”

“Diez negritos se fueron a cenar;
uno se asfixió y quedaron nueve.

Nueve negritos estuvieron despiertos hasta muy tarde;

Ocho negritos viajaron por Devon;

Siete negritos cortaron leña;

Seis negritos jugaron con una colmena;

Cinco negritos estudiaron Derecho;
uno se hizo magistrado y quedaron cuatro.

Cuatro negritos fueron al mar;

Tres negritos pasearon por el zoo;

Dos negritos se sentaron al sol;

Un negrito quedó sólo;
se ahorcó y no quedó… ¡ninguno!”

“Life is too complicated and expansive to be judged solely by the career you have. You could be unhappy doing something you liked, just as it was possible to do what you didn't like but derive happiness from something entirely different. Life is mysterious and complex. Work plays an important role in life, but it isn't solely responsible for our happiness or misery”
