“不能证明其不存在的其实是实证层面以外的抽象上帝（比如某种笼统的高等智慧），宗教里的具体上帝则完全不同，因为捆绑了一本《圣经》之类的经书，那类经书的很多叙述不仅早已被证伪，而且包含了自相矛盾，从这个意义上讲，宗教里的具体上帝其实早已在“证明”一词的任何常规意义下 被证明为不存在了。最后，对一意坚持无效推理和偷换概念的信徒，不妨推荐这样一种终极回应：“是的，我不能证明上帝不存在，并且我也不能证明吃狗屎的上帝不存在。”
