"у цієї книжки є серйозна проблема з «погане=совіцьке». не «совіцьке=погане» (which i can get behind), а навпаки, і будь-яке «спершу заслужи», «негоже дорослим жінкам любити ляльок» чи «що люди скажуть?» раптом виявляється совіцькою травмою, наче деінде не було мізогінії, знецінення жіночих інтересів чи стрьомних ієрархій.
і вона! постійно! на мене! кречить!
здається, ми не подружимося. не люблю, як кречать."

Chuck Palahniuk
“It's so hard to forget pain, but it's even harder to remember sweetness. We have no scar to show for happiness. We learn so little from peace.”
Chuck Palahniuk, Diary

Margaret Atwood
“Love blurs your vision; but after it recedes, you can see more clearly than ever. It's like the tide going out, revealing whatever's been thrown away and sunk: broken bottles, old gloves, rusting pop cans, nibbled fishbodies, bones. This is the kind of thing you see if you sit in the darkness with open eyes, not knowing the future. The ruin you've made.”
Margaret Atwood, Cat's Eye

Umberto Eco
“I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.”
Umberto Eco, Foucault’s Pendulum

Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
“I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.”
Kurt Vonnegut, Player Piano

Alan Moore
“My experience of life is that it is not divided up into genres; it’s a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel. You know, with a bit of pornography if you're lucky.”
Alan Moore
