"It took me a few pages to get into this (the beginning reads a bit odd), but it's honestly the surprise BDSM that threw me! I kind of picked it via Kindle Unlimited based on the cutesy cover, didn't read any content warnings (my own fault), and was expecting cute and lighthearted. "Hmmm. Firstly, love Maddox. Also, not a harem isekai person - never actually read one (seen some anime), but the concept doesn't appeal for various reasons, main one being the poly aspect. I want characters so obsessively in love with each other that they'd NEVER consider sharing. But thought I'd try something different. Off the bat, the reader-insert aspect is grating, as expected.
