This isn't "new" info per se, but the way Margaret articulates it resinates with me deeply. For the first time, it made me realize with eyes wide open the "false self" that I have put forward for years. There is a deeper level in all of us (or "higher" level in her words) and once we are aware of it, we can begin cultivating a better way to access it. It is truly amazing to me how habitual thought patterns from childhood can oppress true feelings so much that you lose touch with who you really are.
