"I finished Castle of Wolfenbach by Eliza Parsons last week and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Lots of murder, treachery, escapes, hidden identities... the kind of thing that initially made me groan until a pair of characters mentioned knights errant and Don Quixote, which reminded me what kind of story I was in: a medieval Romance, only set in roughly "present day" Europe. Looking forward to Udolpho next." — Mar 02, 2023 09:17AM

It is a curious fact, but nobody ever is sea-sick - on land. At sea, you come across plenty of people very bad indeed, whole boat-loads of them; but I never met a man yet, on land, who had ever known at all what it was to be sea-sick.
“Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.”
