Epictetus
“[23] If I cherish my body, I make a slave of myself, if I cherish my property, I make a slave of myself; [24] because I’ve disclosed the means to make me captive. Frank Zappa
“So many books, so little time.”
Frank Zappa

Epictetus
“Against sophistry one should have the practice and exercise of rational argument. Against specious impressions one should have clear preconceptions polished and ready to hand.”
Epictetus, Discourses and Selected Writings

Friedrich Nietzsche
“He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.”
Friedrich Nietzsche
