"Towards the end of the book, Mr. Doolittle describes his fortune as a problem because he has to practice "middle class morality" now. I found this funny because when the audience was first introduced to him, he needed money. But now that he has it, he can't act the ways he used too; rude and careless." — Feb 12, 2012 10:49PM

"At first, I didn't really understand why Okonkwo would kill himself. I understood things were rough, but I didn't think it was worth killing himself over. But then I realized Okonkwo probably killed himself due his lack of success. He always realized he would never achieve his goals after everything that happened. Success and title meant everything to him, and after he realized he would never achieve either of those." — Jan 23, 2012 12:08AM

"There are many archetypes present in Heart of Darkness. Marlow, for example is the hero in the sotry. He has good morals and shares his philosophical insights throughout it. Kurtz is the villian. He has slaves and disobeys the rules of the European government." — Dec 11, 2011 11:47PM
