Book cover for Coroner (The Coroner Series Book 1)
Marilyn Monroe became so depressed that her psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson, insisted she hire a psychiatric nurse/housekeeper, Eunice K. Murray, to watch over her. And yet Monroe was fighting back.

I happen to have know Eunice in the 70's. She & her husband owned the home & when her husband passed she sold it to Marilyn who took a liking to Eunice & didn't want to live alone in the house so asked Eunice to stay on. Knowing this directly from Eunice & her sister Rose made me wonder what other truths were inaccurate or altered.

Patricia Cornwell
“You have to live where you wake up, even if someone else dreamed you there.”
Patricia Cornwell, Red Mist

Oliver Gaspirtz
“Imagine a wall that's green on one side and red on the other. You stand on one side and only see green. I stand on the other side and only see red. We'll both be right about the color we see, even though we disagree on what color the wall is. Being able to realize that the other person has a valid point, even if you disagree with it, that's maturity.”
Oliver Gaspirtz

J.R.R. Tolkien
“Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower, leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We'll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
