“This fire that we call Loving is too strong for human minds. But just right for human souls.”
Aberjhani, Elemental: The Power of Illuminated Love

“In honor of Oprah Winfrey: Even greater than the ability to inspire others with hope is the power to motivate them to give as much to the lives of others as they would give to their own; and to empower them to confront the worst in themselves in order to discover and claim the best in themselves.”
Aberjhani, Journey through the Power of the Rainbow: Quotations from a Life Made Out of Poetry

“Time (again, Time) like the soul, wears many faces, many bodies and climates and attitudes. The past is one face, the present a second and the future yet another.”
Aberjhani, Elemental: The Power of Illuminated Love

“When a reader enters the pages of a book of poetry, he or she enters a world where dreams transform the past into knowledge made applicable to the present, and where visions shape the present into extraordinary possibilities for the future.”
Aberjhani, Collected Visions of a Skylark Dressed in Black

“I ran across an excerpt today (in English translation) of some dialogue/narration from the modern popular writer, Paulo Coelho in his book: Aleph.(Note: bracketed text is mine.)... 'I spoke to three scholars,' [the character says 'at last.'] ...two of them said that, after death, the [sic (misprint, fault of the publisher)] just go to Paradise. The third one, though, told me to consult some verses from the Koran. [end quote]' ...I can see that he's excited. [narrator]' ...Now I have many positive things to say about Coelho: He is respectable, inspiring as a man, a truth-seeker, and an appealing writer; but one should hesitate to call him a 'literary' writer based on this quote. A 'literary' author knows that a character's excitement should be 'shown' in his or her dialogue and not in the narrator's commentary on it. Advice for Coelho: Remove the 'I can see that he's excited' sentence and show his excitement in the phrasing of his quote.(Now, in defense of Coelho, I am firmly of the opinion, having myself written plenty of prose that is flawed, that a novelist should be forgiven for slipping here and there.)Lastly, it appears that a belief in reincarnation is of great interest to Mr. Coelho ... Just think! He is a man who has achieved, (as Leonard Cohen would call it), 'a remote human possibility.' He has won lots of fame and tons of money. And yet, how his preoccupation with reincarnation—none other than an interest in being born again as somebody else—suggests that he is not happy!”

“A world without poetry and art would be too much like one without birds or flowers: bearable but a lot less enjoyable.”

“What is this slow blue dream of living,
and this fevered death by dreaming?”

“Rainer Maria Rilke greeted and wrestled with the angels of his Duino Elegies in the solitude of a castle surrounded by white cliffs tall trees and the sea. I greeted most of mine in the solitude of a house that still vibrated with the throbs of a singular life that had helped shape many lives and with the ache of attempts to render useful service to that life. The River of Winged Dreams was therefore constructed as a link between dimensions of past and future emotions and intellect and matter and spirit.”
Aberjhani, The River of Winged Dreams

“There’s an interesting story about Abraham Lincoln. During the American Civil War he signed an order transferring certain regiments, but Secretary of War Edwin Stanton refused to execute it, calling the president a fool. When Lincoln heard he replied, ‘If Stanton said I’m a fool then I must be, for he’s nearly always right, and he says what he thinks. I’ll step over and see for myself.’ He did, and when Stanton convinced him the order was in error, Lincoln quietly withdrew it. Part of Lincoln’s greatness lay in his ability to rise above pettiness, ego, and sensitivity to other people’s opinions. He wasn’t easily offended. He welcomed criticism, and in doing so demonstrated one of the strengths of a truly great person: humility. So, have you been criticised? Make it a time to learn, not lose.”
Patience Johnson, Why Does an Orderly God Allow Disorder

“Beware of those consumed by darkness, masters of manipulation and control. They blame others for their own problems, fueled by jealousy and obsession. Their lies and gossip aim to defame and destroy, driven by hatred for God's light in you. They're irritated by the Spirit of God, blinded by their own deceit. Don't be fooled by their charm, for beneath lies a heart filled with malice. Their goal is to extinguish God's glory in you, but you stand firm in His truth. Protect your peace, don't engage in their games. Shine brighter, for their darkness can't comprehend God's light.”
Shaila Touchton

“I condemn every voice raised against me, silencing evil tongues with divine fire. Altars of darkness where my name was spoken for evil are scattered to ashes, consumed by God's judgment. I reclaim my peace, joy, and favor, canceling every word meant to hinder my destiny. Evil gatherings are confounded, their plans backfiring in shame. The curses they released return to them, rejected and turned to cinder. I am marked by the blood of Jesus, invisible to evil eyes and protected from monitoring spirits. No witchcraft can prosper with my name, for judgment falls upon those who dare to speak it for evil.”
Shaila Touchton

“I am sealed by God with the blood of Jesus, marked for redemption and purpose. The fire of God refines me, purifying my heart and soul. I am reserved for God's divine plan, set apart for His glory. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, for God has spoken judgment in my favor. I am judged and commended by God, and His favor rests upon me. The favor of God and man surrounds me, opening doors of opportunity and blessing. In God's hands, I am secure, protected, and empowered to fulfill His purpose.”
Shaila Touchton

“No matter who stands against me, who blames me, who plots evil against me, or who slanders and spreads gossip, God is my Provider and Strength. He nullifies every evil attack and arrow directed at me and my children, in the Name of Jesus Christ and by the Blood of Jesus Christ. He fights for me and gives me justice. With Him on my side, I need not worry about anyone against me.”

“Stories have a unique way of reminding us who we are and who we can become. If my books, fiction or nonfiction, can provide even a spark of hope, a moment of reflection, or a little inspiration to someone, then I feel I’ve accomplished something meaningful.”

“Not everyone deserves front-row access to your journey. Presence should be a privilege, not a convenience. Surround yourself with those who show up with integrity, who match your energy with effort, and who understand that loyalty is not just spoken—it’s demonstrated. Let your circle reflect your standards, not your loneliness.”

“Because when someone finds the courage to tell their truth, they not only reclaim their voice, but they give others permission to do the same. And that, I believe, is how we change the world: one story at a time.”

“Some things don’t need to shout to be seen.
They hold their own.
They speak through presence, not volume.
They don’t chase attention—they earn it.
And when you notice them, you realize:
They were never trying. They were just being.”
