“This fire that we call Loving is too strong for human minds. But just right for human souls.”

“In honor of Oprah Winfrey: Even greater than the ability to inspire others with hope is the power to motivate them to give as much to the lives of others as they would give to their own; and to empower them to confront the worst in themselves in order to discover and claim the best in themselves.”
Aberjhani, Journey through the Power of the Rainbow: Quotations from a Life Made Out of Poetry

“Time (again, Time) like the soul, wears many faces, many bodies and climates and attitudes. The past is one face, the present a second and the future yet another.”
Aberjhani, Elemental: The Power of Illuminated Love

“When a reader enters the pages of a book of poetry, he or she enters a world where dreams transform the past into knowledge made applicable to the present, and where visions shape the present into extraordinary possibilities for the future.”
Aberjhani, Collected Visions of a Skylark Dressed in Black

“I ran across an excerpt today (in English translation) of some dialogue/narration from the modern popular writer, Paulo Coelho in his book: Aleph.(Note: bracketed text is mine.)... 'I spoke to three scholars,' [the character says 'at last.'] ...two of them said that, after death, the [sic (misprint, fault of the publisher)] just go to Paradise. The third one, though, told me to consult some verses from the Koran. [end quote]' ...I can see that he's excited. [narrator]' ...Now I have many positive things to say about Coelho: He is respectable, inspiring as a man, a truth-seeker, and an appealing writer; but one should hesitate to call him a 'literary' writer based on this quote. A 'literary' author knows that a character's excitement should be 'shown' in his or her dialogue and not in the narrator's commentary on it. Advice for Coelho: Remove the 'I can see that he's excited' sentence and show his excitement in the phrasing of his quote.(Now, in defense of Coelho, I am firmly of the opinion, having myself written plenty of prose that is flawed, that a novelist should be forgiven for slipping here and there.)Lastly, it appears that a belief in reincarnation is of great interest to Mr. Coelho ... Just think! He is a man who has achieved, (as Leonard Cohen would call it), 'a remote human possibility.' He has won lots of fame and tons of money. And yet, how his preoccupation with reincarnation—none other than an interest in being born again as somebody else—suggests that he is not happy!”

“A world without poetry and art would be too much like one without birds or flowers: bearable but a lot less enjoyable.”
Aberjhani, Journey through the Power of the Rainbow: Quotations from a Life Made Out of Poetry

“What is this slow blue dream of living,
and this fevered death by dreaming?”

“Rainer Maria Rilke greeted and wrestled with the angels of his Duino Elegies in the solitude of a castle surrounded by white cliffs tall trees and the sea. I greeted most of mine in the solitude of a house that still vibrated with the throbs of a singular life that had helped shape many lives and with the ache of attempts to render useful service to that life. The River of Winged Dreams was therefore constructed as a link between dimensions of past and future emotions and intellect and matter and spirit.”
Aberjhani, The River of Winged Dreams

“There’s an interesting story about Abraham Lincoln. During the American Civil War he signed an order transferring certain regiments, but Secretary of War Edwin Stanton refused to execute it, calling the president a fool. When Lincoln heard he replied, ‘If Stanton said I’m a fool then I must be, for he’s nearly always right, and he says what he thinks. I’ll step over and see for myself.’ He did, and when Stanton convinced him the order was in error, Lincoln quietly withdrew it. Part of Lincoln’s greatness lay in his ability to rise above pettiness, ego, and sensitivity to other people’s opinions. He wasn’t easily offended. He welcomed criticism, and in doing so demonstrated one of the strengths of a truly great person: humility. So, have you been criticised? Make it a time to learn, not lose.”

“Every day is a new audition for the life you want. Not the life others expect from you, not the one fear tries to negotiate, but the one your spirit keeps whispering about when the world gets quiet.”

“Some moments don’t ask for permission. They arrive quietly, like laughter blooming in unexpected places. Like the kind of joy you don’t chase—it finds you when you’re present, bold, and open.

Say yes to the people who feel like sunshine.
Say yes to the path that doesn’t have a map.
Say yes to the version of you that plays, creates, and shares without apology.

Because the world doesn’t need more perfect. It needs more real. More light. More you.”

“Growth doesn’t announce itself. It shows up in the small, unglamorous choices you make when no one is watching. It’s the courage to start again after life has knocked the wind out of you. It’s the quiet decision to keep going, even when the path feels lonely or unclear.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need to move fast. You just need to move honestly.”

“Because the truth is this: every scar you carry has taught you something. Every setback has sharpened you. Every moment you thought would break you actually built a part of you that you’re only now beginning to understand.”

“A safe space isn’t just a room or a corner of the world — it’s a feeling. It’s the quiet certainty that you can show up as your full self without shrinking, performing, or apologizing. It’s where your voice doesn’t have to fight to be heard, and your truth doesn’t have to compete with anyone else’s expectations.

A real safe space lets you breathe differently. It softens the edges of the day. It reminds you that strength isn’t always loud — sometimes it’s the calm that settles in when you know you’re protected, respected, and understood.

And the most powerful part is this: a safe space doesn’t have to be given to you. You can build it, claim it, and carry it with you wherever you go.”

“Some rooms don’t just hold you—they recognize you. They remind you that you’ve earned the right to take up space, to breathe deeply, and to belong exactly where you are.”

“A life in motion tells its own story. Every frame is a reminder that purpose isn’t found — it’s built, refined, and carried with you into the next moment.”

“Hope isn’t a miracle. It’s the tiny decision you make on the days you don’t feel like yourself — the decision to keep going anyway.”

“No one understands you better than you do. You are with yourself every moment of the day, and even if your partner is by your side for most of that time, there are still significant experiences and thoughts that can unfold in the hours when you are alone.”
