This book was incredibly interesting. I had seen the movie, but I appreciated the personal perspective. It felt repetitive and could maybe use a trim down, but I appreciated the authentic nature of the narrative. Abby's words about the semantics of Planned Parenthood 'making abortion rare' being out of step with their actual bottom line mentality reminds me of banks, trying to sell services. I am realizing how effective Planned Parenthood is at selling their brand and am praying about how I can influence the young women in my circle towards a life-honoring value system.

Brother Lawrence, The Practice of the Presence of God

Brother Lawrence
“Think often on God, by day, by night, in your business and even in your diversions. He is always near you and with you; leave him not alone.”
