"My husband and I read it out loud as we walk through the neighborhood which can be a bit of an adventure/risk/kink itself.

We tried "The Voyeurs" first because it sounded relatable. Several pages in, we weren't connected to the setting or characters. It was confusing.

"Mirror Mirror" was an enjoyable unique perspective. The narrator had an unexpected fulfillment with a profound, bittersweet twist in the end."

Dr. Seuss
“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities.”
Dr. Seuss

“I refer of course to the soaring wonder of the age known as the Eiffel Tower. Never in history has a structure been more technologically advanced, materially obsolescent, and gloriously pointless all at the same time.”
Bill Bryson, At Home: A Short History of Private Life

Nikos Kazantzakis
“I felt once more how simple and frugal a thing is happiness: a glass of wine, a roast chestnut, a wretched little brazier, the sound of the sea. Nothing else.”
Nikos Kazantzakis, Zorba the Greek

Anna Quindlen
“I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves.”
Anna Quindlen

“Out of the thirty thousand types of edible plants thought to exist on Earth, just eleven—corn, rice, wheat, potatoes, cassava, sorghum, millet, beans, barley, rye, and oats—account for 93 percent of all that humans eat, and every one of them was first cultivated by our Neolithic ancestors.”
Bill Bryson, At Home: A Short History of Private Life
