“اننا اذ نمارس التفكير العلمى والنقدى نمضى ضد مقاومة شديدة ونسبح ضد تيار عارم من التحيزات المتأصلة والاوهام الجبلية ونتجشم اجتياز العديد من العوائق الطبيعية التى تحول بيننا وبين التفكير الواضح فنحن بطبيعتنا لا نتحمل الغموض ولا نطيق معايشة السر وان بنا نزوعا طبيعيا الى طلب اليقين حيث لا يقين ..والتماس الاجابات البسيطة عن الاسئلة المعقدة .. وشغفا بالدعاوى العريضة ونظريات كل شئ محمولة على ظهر بينة ضامرة هزيلة ..والميل الى الاخذ بالفرضيات التى ترضى رغائبنا وتدغدغ امانينا ..ىوالالتفات الى اضغاث من الامثلة التى تؤيد فرضيتنا وغض الطرف عن تلال من الامثلة المفندة .. والى تذكر الرميات الصائبة وتناسى الرميات الخائبة ..والى اخذ الاستعارات التوضيحية والتشبيهات المقربة مأخذ الدليل والى الانضواء مع القطيع والتلفع بالرايات والانضمام للزفة ..والى قتل الرسل بدل من تفنيد الرسالة والى التخلص من عبء البرهان والقائه على عاتق الخصم والى التعويل الزائد على السلطة والانبهارالزائد بالمشاهير والى التعميم الكاسح المتسرع الى آخر تلك الاغاليط التى نغرق فيها الى الاذقان”
