Pin ups by various artists. They’re all good but my favourite ones are Walt Simonson’s and David Mazzucchelli’s.

Issue #600 -
Another loooong issue.
I liked how there were multiple narrators. It’s great to show readers multiple angles and learn something the MC wouldn’t know.
Was the ‘school-girl crush’ necessary? No.
Did I think Roy needed to die to teach Bruce a lesson? Mmh maybe.
Is Henri Ducard an actually fascinating look at what Bruce could’ve become if he had chosen to? Sure!

Issue #599 -
More of a brief look at Bruce’s various teachers and what he learned during his preparation to become the Batman.
It seemed like even his lawyers thought he was a traitor.
But Gordon knows… more than Bruce would like. But the stubborn man wants to fight his own battles.
Trying to get through the horde of reporters, a homeless man (Roy’s friend T-Bone) shoots Bruce!

I really felt all 60 pages of this comic!
A conspiracy involving a giant goon named Bonecrusher, Dr Harbinger and Riordan, both of whom work for… WayneTech!
Plus an experimental biochip created for ‘remote controlled killers’.
Roy, who wanted to expose the whole thing, falls victim to the ‘Cartel’.
He eventually gives Bruce enough clues to figure things out.
The end sees Bruce… arrested for being a spy!?

An interesting perspective from Sam Hamm!
I’ve not heard/read anyone take that specific psychological approach to Batman before. I’m definitely interested to see where this story goes!
