A tad disappointing so far but I detect a change of style from her second to collection to this one, which is cool. Poetry here is a lot more colloquial.

Also got to "June 24" which is a really good dad poem that doesn't involve telling him to go fuck himself. In the context of Olds' father and her other poems about him, this one was a really surprising, heartwarming little piece.

We got a white guilt poem, ladles and germs. Nice, lol (jk, how boring).
