Yeah, about 5% of me was debating if this really deserves to be on my utter shit shelf, or the one star rating….but read that book 2 blurb just cemented it.

Fuck this shit.

I’m adding this to my utter shit shelf.

Usually, I wouldn’t even have gotten this far, let alone finish an “utter shit” book, but the entire experience in general-to the conclusion-just warrants a spot on my utter shit shelf, next to the other shits.

I’m so annoyed every single dark romance themed book I’ve read this week has been so shit. Ughhhhhh

- I want to stop thinking about this shit book I wasted almost a whole two days reading-thinking it would get better.

Gods that was shit. Even more so if I keep thinking on it.

- I don’t buy into their relationship, their “love”, what else is there, their issues??, it’s all so very ….underwhelming.

- I’m not rooting for a single fucking character in this story.

- I prob won’t read another book by this author ever. Just based on this one alone.

- this author already says that they had the mmc all figured out before “realizing” who the fmc really was, or whatever.
Which was very obvious in the end, bc I’m now left with the impression that the mmc had more in common with all the poor dead women he fucked, than he did with this fmc.

- I think I mentioned it before, but the relationships in this book do not seem believable. The last couple of pages the mcs say they love each other. And I felt nothing.

- the “villain” being the fmcs’ best friend, ..all of that was so EXTREMELY underwhelming.

- the “art” of the mcs. Atrocious. I hate that kind of drawing style, and they’re ugly anyways. I’d rather imagine what the characters look like instead of it being shoved in my face.
