"mikhail rarely reacted when someone walked up behind him unexpectedly now" okay, never once in the book had that been an issue that was addressed. i think konstantin made one comment about him not liking to be touched, but i can't really think of any instances (save for one) where we got to SEE that, instead of being TOLD that. he always insisted on topping during sex, but that's about it.

"send them to store address" okay how tf does Patrick make the connection of to=two ?? Obviously that's how Alexei intended him to read the message, but how would Patrick know that.. did he say it like "send them TO store address" ?? Book doesn't say. Wouldn't Konstantin pick up on that if so?

Aha! Alexei is working for Interpol. Interesting development! With a tragic back story like that, no wonder he's so determined to bring these guys down, even at the expense of himself. Poor Piotr :(

So now that Alexei is in the hospital, vory be damned. He has to see him..... Make up your mind Patrick. Either you can't accept the vory and Alexei being vor, or you can... which is it?

Ok the fact that Patrick would have this reaction at Alexei becoming vor is a little ridiculous. He's known this whole time what Alexei does, and he said he'd accepted it. He literally said that like 2 pages ago. But THIS, THIS is what is too much to accept???! He's accepted that sometimes Alexei kills people.... but it's only a problem now because he's vor..... Whaaaaaaaat..

So far nothing has really hooked me about this story. I hate the constant use of "the older man" and "the younger man". I think the dynamic would have worked better with Patrick the cop being the older, more dominant one. I don't know. Maybe not, but I think it would have been hotter. I do want to know their ages so that when Alexei is referred to as "the older man" I'm not picturing an old wrinkly fart in my head.

Sorry to say that not even a hot Russian could get me over my annoyances with this book. Not badly written at all however, I just didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. *3.75 stars *

The push and pull is annoying too. We have yet another "ok lets be together for one last night/time", for about the fifth time. But hey who's counting? *shrugs*

Ok "lover" you are really starting to piss me off! If I clench my teeth any harder I will do myself some damage! Also, FYI we know Alexi is older, that Patrick is a policeman and that Loysha and Patya are diminutives. We the readers are not morons! Just saying............

Hang on a second. Have these guys already got history? I feel like I'm joining a couple of chapters in, I even went to the beginning of the book to check I hadn't missed anything.

Back on Earth and counting down the days to Friday. So will occupy myself with hot Russians and police officers.
